Trackball problems on the BlackBerry Tour have led to nearly 50 percent of them being returned said an analyst at TownHall Investment Research. Users are complaining about the tours trackball in manny online forums. They complain they must roll the trackball repeatedly for it to move the cursor just a little.
Analyst David Eller at TownHall Investment Research wrote in the report almost 50 % of Tours that Sprint sells are being returned, Trackball problems are the main reason for the returns, some customers are complaining about the sensitivity of the touch screen.
Both Sprint and Verizon have disputed the above report and claim the return rate is much lower acording to many articles I have read.
I know how it is when you get a new phone and are not sure if something is a little off or if it's just in your mind. I go online and google it and make sure it is a real problem so you wont look like a fool bringing it in just to be told it is working normaly. After reading many posts about this from trustworthy sites I wanted to inform my readers that if they think their trackball is a bit off, it probably is and they should take it in to to have their tour fixed or replaced.
